I am looking for plain, high-quality kimonos (unisex or oversize shirt-style) that I will later customize with embroidery.
The embroidery will have a textured, raised (loop / punch-needle style) effect, so the fabric must be stable, medium-weight, and comfortable to wear.
Here are the main details of my request:
• Style: Unisex kimono or oversize shirt-style kimono, simple and plain
• Material: 100% cotton, linen, or cotton-linen blend
• Colour palette: Neutral tones – ecru, off-white, beige, sand, white cassé; and possibly a few very light pastel tones if available
• Use: Embroidery customization (fabric must support medium-to-heavy thread work)
• Quantity: Around 500 pieces for the first batch
• Goal: The embroidery work will be done afterward by my team in-house
