Genmot started its activity in the field of automotive in 1975 with engine rectification business.Due to rising demand of crankshafts in the sector ,Genmot decided to focus on the manufacturing the same. As a success story in Turkish Automotive sector Genmot has produced the firstever crankshaft in Turkey in 1987.
Genmot produced the crankshafts for the domestic market uptil 1990 and afterwards commenced exporting it by its principle of ongoing growth and development.In order to supply to the domestic and foreign markets it moved to a new location in 2nd Organised Industrial Area in 1994 having a 3500 m2 covered area with expanding product quality ,portfolio and capacity.
Genmot has procured the complete crankshaft production line of MERCEDES BENZ in Berlin,Germany in 2001 due to the increasing demand of the markets ,customer satisfaction and new investment projects to highlight the quality.
In a very short of time after the new production line is activated Genmot has become a “World Brand”.By taking motto of “QUALITY FIRST” into the consideration Genmot has achieved to obtain ISO 9002 TUV CERT Quality Certificate in 2002 thus registered its quality in compliance of international standarts.
Genmot started the construction of its own factory in Konya 3rd Organised Industrial Area covering a total 21.000 m2 open area and 14.000 m2 covered area since there has been a tremendous demand of its crankshafts worldwide.By the year of 2004 the investments upon the quality has resulted with ISO 9001:2000 TUV-CERT Quality Assurance Certificate,ISO 9001:2008 Quality Assurance Certificate respectively.
Genmot has been awarded with Consumer quality Award in 2007 and 37th International Trophy for Quality (New Millennium Award) in Madrid,Spain in 2009. Additionally,we are pleased to inform that Genmot has the possession of DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 TUV-CERT Quality Assurance Certificate just in 2010 reaching the latest point in quality standarts in the sector of automotive.We have already started ISO/TS 16949:2009 Quality Certification and ISO 14001 Environment Management Systems preparations for the betterment and the furtherment of our quality system.
Presently in our newest integrated manufacturing premises our products are being exported to the North and South America ,Europe ,Africa ,Asia and The Middle East countries.We feel the righteous pride of a demandable Turkish brand-name.
