Saruhan was founded in Istanbul in 1982 and started business with distributing home appliances and industrial cleansing machines. In 1990, Saruhan also became the distributor of professional cleansing machines and of detergents in 1991.
In time, due to the high demands of the market relevant chemical products, SARUHAN also built a facility for the production of powder and liquid detergents. In this respect, in 2001, two production plants were established in Corlu (110 km away from Istanbul).
The chemical plant is the combination of sulphonation plant with the latest version of Ballestra technology and atomized powder detergent plant. Our yearly total capacity is 105.000 tons, including 60.000 tons of powder & 30.000 tons of liquid detergent and 15.000 tons of raw materials. Our machinery products are qualified by CE, TUV-GS certificates according to the European Standards & ISO9001
